Condition Report

An early 20th century gem-set pendant, the rectangular-shape very pale smokey quartz flanked by hessonite garnets, together with a moonstone scorpion brooch and an enamel lizard brooch. AF.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The scorpion has a moonstone missing and another moonstone with significant cracks. The gilt finish is worn. Length 5.4cms. The lizard brooch is very worn with significant enamel loss. The clasp is bent. The pendant has a large shallow chip to one corner of the very pale light yellowish brown smokey quartz. The hessonite garnets are typically included and have moderate abrasions. Length 3.7cms. Weight 3.1gms.
