Condition Report

A Victorian silver presentation trowel with engraved floral border to the central inscription and turned ivory handle. Hallmarked London 1867, maker's mark indistinct, numbered 163, retailed by Hall & Co, Manchester. Length measuring 11 1/2 inches (29 cm).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A number of heavier areas of tarnishing. The ivory handle and fixture pin are both loose. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark worn.
