Purchasing information
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Crescent brooch stamped 18, maker's marks for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. Crescent brooch with replacement clasp, soft solder visible. Scratch 'jewellers' marks. Split pearls well matched with a creamy yellow hue, some slight discolouration. Typical small surface blemishes. Bar brooch with one rose-cut diamond deficient, replacement circular-shape colourless paste in its place. The diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.60ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Diamond brooch with marks to clasp and pin, one of which appears to be an "M" with star surmount.
