An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The circular opal cabochon, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the trifurcated petal shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903. Weight 3.2gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The opal is abraded. Strong play-of-colour visible throughout the stone. The diamond detail is bright, lively and well matched. Light nibbles and chips present. Ring size R 1/2.
