A 9ct gold gem-set butterfly brooch and a gem-set ring. The brooch designed as a butterfly, with vari-shape opal body, split pearl wings and ruby eyes, together with a turquoise cabochon and old-cut diamond three-stone ring. Brooch with hallmarks for London, 1989. Length of brooch 2.6cms. Weight 6.1gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. One split pearl deficient to wing of brooch. All settings will need attention. The diamond detail to the ring appears bright and lively - abrasion to facet edges, in keeping with age. Discolouration to turquoise - turquoise chipped. Settings to ring have worn thin with age and are in need of attention. Ring size L.
