A late 19th century century silver and 9ct gold sapphire and diamond crescent brooch. Designed as a series of graduated oval-shape sapphires, with old-cut diamond detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 2.8cms. Weight 7.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some gemstones appear off streight within the setting and may need to be secured.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- There are chips to several diamonds visible with magnification, the diamonds appear quite grey with fairly significant inclusions visible with the unaided eye.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Sapphires medium blue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions visible with magnification.
- There is more significant abrasion to one of the smaller sapphires, slight abrasion to oither sapphires.
