A late 19th century gold and silver diamond and cultured pearl pendant. The openwork panel set throughout with old-cut diamonds, to the cultured pearl highlights, and similarly-set detachable pendant, may be worn as a brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 2.50cts. Length 5cms. Weight 13.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age.

- Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment.
- Some adhesive can be seen to some pearls.
- One cultured pearl replacement.
- Cultured pearls fairly well matched.
- Cultured pearls creamy-white to slightly yellowish, moderate to limited pink overtones and good to fair lustre.
- Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
