Condition Report

Two items of late 19th century pique tortoiseshell jewellery. The brooch of circular outline, the domed profile with chequered central design to the zigzag border, and a pair of ear pendants, designed as spherical tortoiseshell pieces of a similar design and suspending inverted pear-shape pieces of similar design. Lengths 3.5 to 5.7cms.

    This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal and tortoiseshell surface in keeping with age and wear. There is some inlaid metal deficient to the brooch border, running about a quarter of the circumference. Pin in good order. This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/ export requirements.
