A late 19th century 15ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. The oval-shape ruby, within a curved panel, to the old-cut diamond foliate sides and asymmetric double bar. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 5.2cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Ruby fairly bright medium red, well saturated, with good clarity and some small typical inclusions, which can be under magnification.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Stamped 15ct.
