Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the pear-shape peridot collet, within a split pearl surround, suspending a seed pearl drop. Length 4.5cms. Weight 3.9gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Replacement surmount.
  • Split pearls vary in colour, some with more of a grey body colour.
  • Possible replacement seed pearl drop.
  • Peridot medium yellowish green, with a moderate saturation of colour.
  • Stone in fair condition with abrasion to the facet edges and facet faces.
  • Stamped 15ct.
