Condition Report
A mid Victorian gold foil-back garnet brooch, circa 1860. Designed as a scrolling foliate engraved bow, set with oval garnet cabochon collets, suspending a similarly-designed drop. Length 4.7cms. Weight 8.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Some garnet possible replacement.
- Foil-back garnet medium to fairly dark purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some of which can be seen with the naked eye.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
