Condition Report

A pair of 1920's silver candlesticks, each with stepped square base having beaded border detail and rising to a classical column and Corinthian style capital with removable nozzle, also with bead rim. Hallmarked Britton, Gould & Co., Birmingham 1926. Height including nozzle measuring 12 1/4 inches (31 cm). (filled).

Purchasing information
    The candlesticks appear in fair overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. General tarnishing which appears heavier to one of the sticks. Numerous minor dints or surface nicks, especially visible to edge of stepped bases. The nozzles fit quite well, both display heavily incised or scratched marks to the undersides. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also clear part hallmarks to nozzles.
