Condition Report

A George V silver and tortoiseshell jewellery box, of kidney bean form having pique inlay with garland swags and pendant drops to the hinged cover opening to a lined interior, the whole raised upon four scrolled and foliate legs. Hallmarked Charles & Richard Comyns, London 1919. Length measures 9 inches (23 cm). (S/D).

Purchasing information
    There is a horizontal hairline crack to the tortoiseshell cover and with few other minor scratches and marks. The hinge is in good condition and interior lining is in fair condition. The legs are slightly distorted but the box still stands fairly straight and with areas of rubbing. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please be aware that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
