A diamond and citrine bow brooch.

Condition Report

A diamond and citrine brooch. Designed as a rose-cut diamond bow, with central cushion-shape citrine and rose-cut diamond cluster 'knot' and similarly-set drop. French assay marks. Length 7.6cms. Weight 45.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Citrine fairly dark slightly brownish-orange, well saturated, with good clarity and some slight typical inclusions visible under magnification.

  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Fairly obvious light coloured inclusions can be seen to many diamonds under magnification, some of which may be seen with the naked-eye, a few diamonds show small dark coloured inclusions under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Citrine in good condition with minor abrasions, some diamonds show nibbles or chips to some edges.
