Condition Report
A Chinese export silver table vesta, the hexagonal-sided cigarette holder of tapering form with each panel having pierced decoration of flowering blossom trees, a further curved match holder applied to the front with striking panel and all raised on a hexagonal base. Maker's mark for Wang Hing & Company (circa 1854-1925). Maximum height measuring 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm), weight 4.71 ozt (146.5 grams).

Purchasing information-
The vesta appears quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches. Some splits in the metal at the joins between panels. Some visible solder repairs. Small loss in the pierced decoration at the top of the back panel. Maker's mark slightly rubbed but still clearly legible.
