A pair of 1940's silver mounted candlesticks.

Condition Report

A pair of 1940's silver mounted candlesticks, each with an octagonal canted filled base, leading to similarly conforming tapered stem, rising to a circular nozzle. Hallmarked Chester 1946, maker's mark worn and obscured. Height measuring 11 7/8 inches (30.2 cm).

Purchasing information
    The candlesticks display general surface ware, marks and scratches and also some tarnishing. There are several small surface nicks, dints and creases throughout and especially to edges and rims. Heavier knocks and marks to some of the base corners including some small holes. One candlestick does have a slight lean and the nozzle is a little bashed with minor splits appearing. Hallmarks rubbed and maker's marks significantly worn.
