Condition Report

A pair of Georgian paste girandole earrings. Each designed as a pear and cushion-shape cluster fringe, suspended from a similarly-set scrolling bar and cluster surmount. Length 5.8cms. Weight 38.8gms. With later Harvey & Gore case.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Paste are set within closed-back setting, possibly foil-back.

  • Paste in good to fair condition, some with minor chips and nibbles to facet edges.

  • Three of the paste appear crizzled.
  • Width 4.5cms.
  • With hook fittings for pierced ears. Hooks are replacements, one in yellow metal, the other in white metal.
  • Case worn and damaged.
  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
