A 1920's plain silver salver.

Condition Report

A 1920's plain silver salver, with pie-crust rim and raised on four stylised hoof feet, later masonic presentation engraving to base. Hallmarked Barker Brothers (Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker), Chester 1920. Maximum diameter measuring 10 3/8 inches (26.3 cm), weight 17.61 ozt (547.8 grams).

Purchasing information
    The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and some expected surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Several deeper scratches and surface nicks visible to the plain centre. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly worn but still legible. Inscription reads '1958 To Leslie Phipps Dorman T.D.P.G.W Provincial Grand Master on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee as a Mark Mason with Fraternal Greetings from the Brethren of Northamptonshire, Huntingdonshire and Bedfordshire.'
