An early 19th century silver and gold, old and rose-cut diamond crescent brooch. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 1ct, I-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 3cms. 7.3gms.

  • General discolouration in keeping with age and wear.
  • Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.

  • Rose-cut diamonds generally well matched and fairly well cut, with good clarity and some typical surface features.
  • Principal old-cut diamond estimated weight 0.25ct.
  • Old-cut diamonds generally with small light and dark inclusions, some surface reaching.
  • One old-cut diamond with some shallow chips to one side of the crown.
