Condition Report

An early Victorian silver matched part canteen in Fiddle, Thread and Shell pattern, double struck, comprising ten tablespoons, six dessert spoons, six table forks and six dessert forks. Hallmarked London, dates ranging from 1838 to 1844, maker's marks for Mary Chawner and Chawner & Co. Total weight 75.75 ozt (2356.3 grams).

Purchasing information
    With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. A number of small indentations and nicks throughout. Spoon bowls with some knocks and nicks to edges, and fork prongs with nicks and some slightly bent. Group lot, sold as seen.
