A George V silver four piece tea service.

Condition Report

A George V silver four piece tea service, comprising teapot, hot water pot, twin-handled sugar bowl and cream jug, of circular bellied form to a footed base, each with arabesque engraved border below the rim and repeated to the foot, the tea and hot water pots with stained wood scroll handles and finials to each domed and hinged lid. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1928. Height of hot water pot 8.5" (21.5 cm), gross weight 56.39 ozt (1754 grams).

Purchasing information
    All pieces appear in good overall condition. Displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. Minor surface nicks. All hinges appear in good working order and lids close flush. Heavier staining and tarnishing to interior of tea and hot water pots, particularly teapot. Also some heavier scratches and contact marks to interiors. All with matching hallmarks and pattern number D2112.
