A Russian silver-gilt ashtray.

Condition Report

A Russian silver-gilt ashtray of plain and tapering circular form and surmounted with a bird to one side. With Kokoshnik mark for St. Petersburg below impressed maker's marks. Rim diameter measures 3 inches (7.6 cm), gross weight 6.09 ozt (189.5 grams).

Purchasing information
    The ashtray displays some general wear, surface scratches and marks, also a few small dints. Heavy solder repairs around the claws of the bird. Some rubbing Kokoshnik mark. The ashtray appears hollow and there is something rattling inside.
