Condition Report

A nineteenth century Russian cigarette case of oblong form, the scalework decoration adorned with turquoise cabochons and push release clasp with spring hinge opening to a gilt interior. Struck twice with a Cyrillic maker's mark only for or similar to Vassili Finnikov or Vasily Fedorov, St. Petersburg. Height measuring 8.5 cm, weight 114 grams.

Purchasing information
    Very good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hinge and clasp in good working order. Maker's mark only struck twice, and somewhat rubbed.
