Two early 20th century silver cigarette cases by Ramsden & Carr.

Condition Report

Two early twentieth century silver cigarette cases by Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr, each of curved oblong form with planished effect to the whole, the first with embossed decoration to the front depicting flowers upon a thorn vine, the second depicting an oak tree branch with leaves and acorns, each with hinged cover opening to reveal a gilded interior. Hallmarked Birmingham, one dated 1912 and the other 1913. Length of each 3 1/2 inches (9cm), weight 6.14 ozt (191 grams).

Purchasing information
    Each with surface scratches, tarnishing and some small indentations and knocks. Gilded interior slightly work in places and hallmarks slightly worn but legible. Mechanisms work well and both cases close flush.
