A George III silver cream jug.

Description

Condition Report

A George III silver cream jug, the plain oval body having a reeded rim and flat-top handle with engraved initials. Hallmarked Thomas Meriton, London 1803. Height including handle measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 3.68 ozt (114.5 grams).

Purchasing information
    The cream jug displays some tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. A couple of minor dints and a knock to foot rim. A couple of tiny holes in the metal around the hallmarks. Some rubbing and slight distortion to hallmarks but still clearly legible. No personal engravings.
