Condition Report

A 1920's silver mounted glass vase, the circular silver rim leading to a tapered cut-glass stem and base, hallmarked John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham 1925, height measuring 9 6/8 inches (24.7 cm). Together with a 1920's silver topped powder pot, of circular glass form with a cut-glass base, hallmarked C C May & Sons, London 1923, a 1960's silver mounted circular cut-glass bowl, a pair of silver mounted perfume bottles with engraved initialled cartouche to the collars, plus a small selection of plated ware.

Purchasing information
    In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor bumps to the rim of the vase. The silver top on the powder pot has some creases and dents around the edge. The perfume bottles have some interior fractures, cracks and chips to the glass inside of the collar, both have engraved initials to the cartouches on the collar which are rubbed and worn, hallmarks are heavily worn and majority indistinct, one of the glass stoppers has a significant piece missing to the conical top with visible signs of repair to the stem, both have further nibbles and chips. The plated fish servers have silver ferrules. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
