Condition Report

A George II silver salver, of circular form with scalloped shell border and later engraved presentation inscription, the whole raised upon three pad feet. Hallmarked Francis Crump, London 1744. Width measures 8 4/8 inches (21.7 cm), weight 12.6 ozt (393.1 grams). 'Presented By The Board of Sound Diffusion Limited To Their Chairman, Sir Stanley Bell, O.B.E., J.P. On The Occasion Of The Conferment On Him By Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Of A Knight Bachelorhood. 6th July 1954.'
