A late 19th century gold and seed pearl brooch. Of bi-colour design, the woven basket, with seed pearl grapes, textured vine leaves and scrolling vine, to the seed pearl terminal cylindrical bar. French assay marks. Length 5.1cms. Weight 5.4gms.
