Condition Report

A pair of 1970's silver butter dishes, having gadrooned rims and star-cut glass liners, hallmarked Garrard & Co. Ltd., Birmingham 1973 and further marked Garrard & Co. Ltd., 112 Regent Street London W, diameter of dish measures 4 2/8 inches (11 cm). Together with a pair of associated 1970's silver butter knives, and a small silver armada dish. Gross weight excluding glass liners 6.6 ozt (205.3 grams). (3).

Purchasing information
    Overall the lot is in good to fair condition with general light wear and surface scratching throughout commensurate with age and use. One silver butter dish with small dent to the base, both dishes marked with the special mark used in 1973 to commemorate bi-centenary of Birmingham office. Glass liners are in good condition. Hallmarks are clear and legible throughout.
