A 1920's silver mounted and glass butter dish, the circular form having geometric pierced sides and twin handles and raised on four foliate feet, with clear glass liner, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1923, rim diameter measuring 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm). Together with an associated silver butter knife, hallmarked John Turton & Co., Sheffield 1930, and a pair of 1920's glass salt and pepper pots with removable silver and mother-of-pearl lids, hallmarked Birmingham 1928, maker's mark worn. Weighable silver 2.38 ozt (74 grams).

Purchasing information-
All the pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches and some tarnishing to the silver. Minor surface dints and bump to pierced dish mount. Tip of butter knife is now a little blunt. A few minor edge chips and nibbles to glass, especially around neck rims of glass salt and pepper pots. Screw thread lids are a good fit. Hairline crack to mother-of-pearl on one of the lids. Hallmarks are mostly legible. Maker's marks on the two lids are very worn but are possibly Barker Brothers Silver Ltd.
