Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond brooch. Designed as a vari-cut diamond bird, with circular ruby cabochon eye, flying through an old-cut diamond heart. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 3.7cms. Weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. One diamond deficient. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Brooch appears to be white metal with yellow metal reverse. Base metal pin, pin slightly loose, possible replacement. Slight pitting and texture to surface.
