A mid 20th century ruby foliate brooch. Designed as a textured foliate tapered panel, with circular-shape ruby scattered highlights. Length 4.5cms. Weight 15.6gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Discolouration to both sides from acid staining. Small panel to reverse, possible later addition, badly stamped "Kt 1" Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched, moderately vibrant, slightly purplish red hue. Large inclusions including surface reaching features.
