An early 20th century gold diamond and seed pearl portrait brooch. The circular-shape portrait, within a seed pearl and diamond accent wreath surround. Diameter 3.3cms. Weight 9.7gms.

  • Diamonds fairly bright and lively.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment.

  • Seed pearls well matched.

  • Seed pearls creamy-white, pink and green overtones, with good to fair lustre.

  • Some seed pearls show abrasion and slight peeling to the nacre.
