Angela Cummings is a well known jewellery designer who has created pieces for Tiffany & Co as well as her own eponymous brand. Her timeless designs feature high quality materials like gold, silver and many other precious stones. Also, her work often incorporates nature-inspired motifs and is often worn by celebrities and fashion icons alike. In 1984, she left Tiffany to start her own brand, which was also highly successful and has won numerous awards for her work which can be found all over the world. Price Realised:  £390.00 TIFFANY & CO. – a 1970s rose petal necklace, by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co A previous auction on Thursday 12 October 2017 featured a stunning 1970s rose petal necklace, (Lot 322). The necklace was hugely popular and sold for a whopping £5,900. It estimated at £1,400-£2,000. TIFFANY & CO. – a shell ring, by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. Fellows’ Antique & Modern Jewellery sale on 11th May 2017 featured a beautiful shell ring, (Lot 279). The ring, designed as an open spiral shell, estimated at £700-£900. The in-demand item eventually sold for £3,900. TIFFANY & CO. – a diamond Ginkgo leaf brooch by Angela Cummings. Continuing on the same theme, a Tiffany & Co diamond Ginkgo leaf brooch sold in Fellows’ Antique & Modern Jewellery auction on 9th March 2017 (Lot 348). Fellows’ October Antique & Modern Jewellery sale features many beautiful pieces of animal jewellery. Many fabulous brooches depicting numerous animals feature, including kangaroos, spiders, and squirrels. Lot 39 is a 1970s 9ct gold squirrel brooch, by Alabaster & Wilson, estimated at £120-£180. The squirrel can be seen clutching a seed pearl, sitting atop a textured branch. Lot 12 is an enamel fish and rod bar brooch, of fishing interest, designed as a stylised bamboo rod, with a seed pearl accent reel and enamel trout. The brooch is estimated at £180 – £260. Staying on the topic of animal brooches is Lot 42, an early 20th century gold and silver gem-set butterfly brooch. The split pearl and opal body, with green gem eyes, to the diamond, ruby, sapphire and opal wings. For the pooch lovers among you, we have two alluring brooches in the shape of dogs in this sale. Lot 95, estimated at £750-£950, is a diamond dog brooch and Lot 60 is a dog brooch with rose-cut diamond eyes, estimated at £300-£400. The Theodor Fahrner jewellery company is best known for its typical Art Nouveau designs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Theodor Fahrner was born in Pforzheim between 1859 and 1868. He trained as a steel engraver and went to Pforzheim Commercial Arts Society to train in the arts. When he took over his father’s ring factory upon his death in 1883, he began to combine these skills to produce pieces of jewellery in the Jugenstihl tradition, employing materials such as enamel, marcasite and semi-precious stones.
